In 2009, the most ambitious comic book film ever made was released. In the advent of The Dark Knight, and the birth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the world may have been ready for an R rated adaptation of the celebrated graphic novel from director Zack Snyder. This was the first of 4 DC Comics adaptations from the visionary director.
Our hosts discuss the themes of the film, the differences between film and source material, and give their thoughts on the upcoming HBO series premiering later this year.
